Installing Orchid Medical Spa Software for the first time

Installing Orchid Medical Spa Software on your computer for the first time is easy, and should only take a few minutes. Whether you are installing the trial or a full copy of the software, the instructions are the same. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact us for assistance.

Before you install the program, make sure that your computer meets the system requirements.

1. Downloading Orchid Medical Spa Software

Download the latest version of the software using the link below.

Select the option to Run the file. We recommend that you exit other programs while running the setup file.

Once the software has finished downloading, you will be asked if you want to run the software at this time. Select Run to continue.

2. Installing Orchid Medical Spa Software

If you have Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you may see a User Account Control message come up when the program starts to install. In this case, allow the setup by clicking on Yes.

You will see a standard welcome screen come up for installing the program. Click Next to continue.

Accept the license agreement and click on Next to install the software.

You will then be shown the installation location of the software. Do not change this location and click on Next.

Finally, click the Install button and Orchid Medical Spa Software will continue with installing its required components as well as the software itself.

If you did not already have SQL Server 2005 Express installed on your computer, this will be installed automatically for you. This software is a required component for Orchid Medical Spa Software to run, and holds your database (information). You should not need to change anything on this screen, but rather just wait for it to complete.

After SQL Server 2005 Express installs on your computer, the Orchid Medical Spa Software program itself will install. When it is done, select the option to Launch Orchid Medical Spa Software, which will open the program after you click on Finish.

3. Starting Orchid Medical Spa Software for the first time

When you start Orchid Medical Spa Software you will be prompted to register the software, or continue using the software as a trial. If you have already purchased the software and have your serial number select the Register option and enter the serial number in the spaces provided to continue. Otherwise, you may continue using the free trial.

You will be asked to create a new blank database, sample database, or to restore a backup (if you previously had the software on another computer or are reinstalling on this computer).

If you would like to get started using the software with your own employees, services, and clients right away, then choose the "blank database" option. If you would like to start learning how to use Orchid Medical Spa Software with some sample information (which can be deleted later), select "sample database". Click OK to create the database and continue.
