Computer requirements for Orchid Medical Spa Software
Please read the minimum and recommended hardware and operating system requirements below. For adequate performance to run the software,
please follow at least the minimum hardware specifications. For optimal performance, please follow at least the recommended hardware specifications.
Single or Client Computer
Follow these specifications if you are using the Standard or Professional editions of the software,
or for each client computer in your network when using the Multi-Computer or
Multi-Location edition.

Server Computer in Network
The following server specifications are for the server computer holding your database. You will have a server computer if you are using the Multi-Computer or Multi-Location
edition of Orchid Medical Spa Software. For all other computers in the network, follow specifications for "Single or Client Computers" shown above.

When running Orchid Medical Spa Software from multiple locations, each location will have a server and one
or more client computers on the local network. All locations must be connected to the Internet, and be using a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to share files and
information between the locations.
For each location, follow the specifications listed under "Server Computer" for the computer holding the database (one per location),
and the rest of the computers at each location (clients) should follow the specifications listed under "Single or Client Computer". However, when using Orchid Medical Spa Software
at multiple locations, you must have a full-time Internet connection at each location.
If you are purchasing additional hardware, refer to the requirements
below to determine the amount and type of ports your computer should have available per piece of hardware. Generally, hardware items will work with any
operating system and with minimal hardware specifications.

Note: Orchid Medical Spa Software will run on any PC, laptop, or netbook that you would like to use as long as it meets the requirements listed above.
Orchid Medical Spa Software will run on a Mac computer if the Mac is running a Windows emulator or Windows Parallel program, such as Boot Camp or VMWare Fusion,
and has a copy of Windows XP (SP2), Windows Vista, or Windows 7 installed. Orchid Medical Spa Software cannot run directly off of a Mac operating system.
*Internet connection is optional if credit card processing, Remote Access, or Online Booking is not used for the Standard,
Professional, and Multi-Computer editions of Orchid Medical Spa Software, but will allow for better access to support and software updates.
