Installing Orchid Software

Step 1: Download Software

Download the latest version of Orchid software using the button below.

Step 2: Run the Installation

After the installation file has finished downloading, select the Run option. We recommend that you exit all other programs while running this setup file.

Step 3: Install Prerequisite Files

If you have Windows 8, Windows 7 or Windows Vista, you may see a User Account Control message come up when the program starts to install. In this case, allow the setup by clicking on Yes.

Before installing Orchid on your computer, the installer will check to make sure your computer has all of the programs needed in order for Orchid to work properly. If it detects one or more missing applications, it will install them for you. Press the Install button to install these applications.

Step 5: Starting Orchid Software for the First Time

When you start Orchid you will be prompted to register the software, or continue using the software as a trial. If you have already purchased the software and have your serial number select the Register option and enter the serial number in the spaces provided to continue. Otherwise, you may continue using the free trial.

You will be asked to create a new blank database, sample database, or to restore a backup (if you previously had the software on another computer or are reinstalling on this computer).

If you would like to get started using the software with your own employees, services, and clients right away, then choose the Start Fresh option. If you would like to start learning how to use Orchid software with some sample information (which can be deleted later), select Start with Some Sample Information.
