Minor Update to Version 7

If you currently have Version 7 installed on your computer and would like to update to a newer version or build within Version 7, please read the notes and instructions below. By continuing with the update, you indicate that you have read, followed and agreed to the notes and procedures as listed. If you do not already have Version 7 installed on your computer, please visit the Updates page and make sure to select the appropriate type of update you are interested in doing.

Important Notes

Update Time

Depending on your Internet and computer speed, the update may take some time to complete. Please be sure that you are updating while your business is closed or slow.

Backup Your Database

Please make a backup of your database prior to performing the update. If for any reason you need to restore a backup after upgrading, it is best to have the most recent possible information.

Technical Support

If you need technical support for any reason during the update, you will be charged for technical support in accordance with our technical support policies.

Network Computers

If you have a network of computers using Orchid Medical Spa Software, be sure to install the update on EACH computer on the network. You should start with the server computer and then update each client computer after the server computer has been updated completely. All computers must be using the same version of the software to run properly.

Update Instructions

Using your current version of Orchid Medical Spa Software, make a backup copy of your database by selecting Backup and Restore -> Backup Database from the File pull-down menu. After doing this, close Orchid Medical Spa Software.
Click the Download Now button below. This version will run on Windows XP (Service Pack2, Home or Pro), Vista, 2003 Server or 2008 Server.

Select Run or Open the file download. Once the file is downloaded to your computer, the setup process should begin. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
Once the installation has completed, open Orchid Medical Spa Software. Your database will automatically be updated.
